Ohio River, was attended by Democrats from
Stratton to Mount Pleasant. Democratic County

crowd as they gathered to enjoy the excellent

Democrats met with Judge Russo and told him

better tasting then we had in Jefferson County.
I truly enjoyed the visit.”

Judge Russo attended a salute to
Parma Democratic volunteers at the American
Legion Hall. Judge Russo paid tribute to the
late Parma Democratic City Leader, Chuck Sebes,
“nine years ago, Chuck Sebes stood up and
nominated me for Democratic Candidate for
Cuyahoga County Judge. Eight years, 7,000
criminal and civil cases, and 7 death penalty
cases later, I now am the Democratic Candidate
for the Ohio Supreme Court. He gave me my start,
and I will never forget him.” Judge Russo was
introduced to the crowd by Parma Democratic City
Leader Chris Phelps. Judge Russo pointed out
that for the first time in 38 years; all seven
members of the Ohio Supreme Court are
Republicans. He said, “Justice requires balance.
And despite the fact that this is a statewide
race, I will never forget my friends in Parma
who helped me get elected in the beginning, and
will bring this victory home to us in the end.”
